So it's been a while since we posted (is that a word?) anything here. But that's just because it's summer and we're all caught up in Summer Fun!!! Actually, no. I dunno about Frootcake Boy, but my summer has been pretty boring. But anyway, right now we have 138 pageveiws!!! Yaaaaay!

Happy Mother's day, everyone! We hope you got your mommy lots of presents and chocolate and cookies and roses. Unless she's allergic to any of those things. Or all. If she's allergic to all of them, tell your mom that we hope she had a good day, anyhow.

Frootcake Man's Frootcake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

3 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 1/4 cups raisins
1 cup chopped pecans
12 ounces dried apricots, chopped
8 ounces candied cherries, halved
4 ounces candied lemon peel
4 ounces candied orange peel
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup jellied cranberry sauce
1 1/2 cups shortening
2 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
5 eggs
1 1/2 cups chopped cranberries

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan. Line with parchment paper and grease the paper.

In a medium bowl, sift flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and cloves together. Add raisins, pecans, apricots, cherries, lemon and orange peels. Toss to mix.
In a small bowl, beat the orange juice and jellied cranberry sauce together until smooth. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat shortening, brown sugar and eggs together until fluffy. Add flour mixture alternately with the orange juice mixture, beginning and ending with the flour. Stir in dried cranberries just until the ingredients are well blended.
Turn batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 3 1/2 to 4 hours or until the cake is golden brown. Cool cake in the pan. Remove from the pan and remove the paper. Store the cooled cake several weeks in a covered container to mellow flavors. May also wrap in brandy, whisky or rum-soaked cheese cloth before storing in a covered container. If desired, garnish with orange slices and cranberries.

Frootcake Man's very own story about his life so far.

Frootcake Man was born in a city somewhere in America. His mom was a regular human but his dad was a door. Yes, a door. Anyway, his real name is Rob. So baby Frootcake Man Rob crawled out of his house one night, but couldn't find his way home. So eventually, baby Frootcake Man Rob became a loner.
But little did he know, a gang had just started up. It was the baby loner gang, lead by a toddler named James. Unlike many other toddlers, James really liked veggies... or veggehs. James found baby (Frootcake Man) Rob and asked him if he would wanna join his gang. "Whatever," baby Frootcake Man Rob answered. So for the next few years, he was in the baby loner gang. Over the years they called it the toddler loner gang, the tween loner gang, then finally the teenager loner gang. This is when things got a little more interesting. With the other gang members, James plotted the downfall of Teenager Rob. "He's getting too powerful," he said "we need to bring him down." So later that night, James went alone to Teenager Rob's house. When Teenager Rob came to the door, James put a gun to his head. Thinking quickly, Rob grabbed a Frootcake from the doorside table and threw it in James' face.
From that moment on, Rob was officially Frootcake Man!
James was in a coma for six months. When he woke up, he was Veggeh Man, sworn enemy of Frootcake Man.
The other members of the gang joined Veggeh Man's forces, and to this day they cause veggeh mischief in the name of Veggeh Man.

Kay. I made Frootcake Man becasue I... er... I have no clue, actually. I'll try to do some weird computer voodoo stuff that I'll try and learn later to put up a picture of FROOTCAKE MAN!!!!! YES! Anyway, my name is Frooty McFroot-Froot. Or just Froot. I made up the word froot one day because I was SO BORED in Science class. Froot became my new word. Instead of shouting a barbaric word, I smartly say, "Holy froot!" so I won't get in trouble or anything (Psht. Me? Trouble? I slide outta trouble like Jell-O on a hot car hood). Froot developed into Frootcake, then frootcake evolved into- you guessed it- FROOTCAKE MAN!!!!! *Enter hero music here* Yeah, I'mma dweeb. BUT I'M THE COLLIEST DWEEB YOU'LL EVER MEET! Hehe. Need some aloe vera for that BURN!? xD
